David Clancy – Managing Director

David Clancy is Managing Director and founder of Clancy & Associates which was established in 1998.  With a wealth of experience within the tax industry, David has become a leading industry expert in the following areas of tax;

 

  • Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax, 
  • Capital Acquisitions Tax, 
  • Trusts & Estate Planning, and 
  • Personal Financial Planning.

David is a member of the Irish Tax Institute, and in 2018 was awarded a Fellowship from the Irish Tax Institute in recognition of his contribution to the Institute and the tax industry. David has also been a member of the ITI Education Committee for over 20 years.

 

Education and professional development are at the heart of Clancy and Associates, having lectured extensively for the Irish tax Institute, the Institute of Bankers and other professional bodies for many years.

 

David is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

 

Clancy & Associates has developed dramatically over the last 23 years and their client base includes leading Irish business individuals, companies and international sportspeople.  The practice focuses on assisting clients with real estate transactions, taxation issues, structuring of mergers & acquisitions and liquidations & sale of companies.

 

Since being established in 1998, the firm now has a global client base including, but not limited to, the UK, USA, Australia and Asia.
